We are lucky to have a lovely open field with excellent facilities located at Henry Ziegenfusz Park, Fitzroy St, Cleveland, Queensland.

When do we meet?
We meet up every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday mornings between 8.00am – 12 noon. Flying on these fields outside of these approved days/hours is forbidden.
What we do…
- Flying of gliders, motorised gliders, park flyers, helicopters and drones.
- Only electric propulsion is allowed, to ensure ‘quiet flight’
- All aircraft are monitored for noise
- All pilots are required to pass a proficiency test before being allowed to fly un-assisted
- All members are covered by insurance under MAAA
- Pilot Training of new members are provided by qualified persons, free of charge however we ask for a gold coin donation per flight to assist with upkeep of training equipment.
- School children are encouraged to participate, particularly during school holiday time
- On an average fly-day, we see around 10-15 pilots fly at the field. On week ends this figures frequently reaches 25 or more.
- Social gatherings or BBQ’s are held at regular intervals at the park for family and friends when possible
- Open days are held annually to inform the public of RAMS existence and to encourage new members
