At our latest Committee Meeting, RAMS Member John Tranter, relayed several concerns from members about the likelihood of our ageing member population experiencing a medical episode and an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) was not as readily available as what it could be therefore putting life at risk.  The RAMS Committee agreed with the proposal and applied for a grant with Redland City Council Mayor and Councillor Community Benefit Fund.

We are proud to say, within 4 days of applying for the funding, the money was released and the purchase of our own AED is already underway.

Stay tuned… we will update you location, training as soon as we know anything.
