Too windy at the Club? Not so fast, it could be perfect weather for a day at the slope!
A quiet scenic drive, a beautiful view, fresh air and good company. Slope soaring can be a great alternative to traditional powered flight. With enough lift you can fly completely motor free. There’s definately something special about watching your model hang in mid air with only the lift from the slope to keep you there.
The members from RAMS are always on the lookout (pardon the pun) for favourable weather conditions for slop soaring. A great expansion on the hobby for pilots looking for a new spin on the hobby.
