Redland Aero Modellers (RAMS) is a dedicated group of local remote control (RC) plane enthusiasts who enjoy coming together several times a week to fly their planes, share ideas around aeronautical building techniques and working within the community to encourage people to enjoy the sport of RC aircraft. Our club is affiliated with the Model Aeronautical Association of Australia and we encourage proper training and control of all remote controlled aircraft.
Our youngest member is just 8 years old with our oldest member reaching the giddy heights of… let’s just say, “You don’t ever lose the will to fly planes!!” 🙂
Our remote controlled aircraft are only electric planes or gliders (we can’t have fuel based engines as they are too loud and will disturb the local residents) and we have rules and guidelines on where, when and how we fly our planes which we can get you acquainted with.
In the meantime, please browse our site and contact us to make your first step into model aircraft.
